My love of orchids is because of Janet. I admired the collection of orchids in her office. She had this magic touch with plants and with people. As a newjoiner in the organization I spent many hours in her office, asking her many questions about how things worked. I was so lost. But Janet was always warm and calm, always willing to help me no matter how busy she was. Overtime we talked about other things, like orchids. And I learned how to take care of them too. Orchids remind me of Janet, such delicate, yet powerful flowers. Thank you Janet for everything. I will never forget your generosity and kindness.
